And did you know there are even more apartment buildings named after the original street names? One example is The Balfour Apartments located at 112-20 72nd Dr. It was named after Balfour St. which is now 73rd Ave. There’s also Decoven Hall at 77-54 Austin St. Its name came from Decoven Place, which is now known as 72nd Rd.
